The FT-IR Spectrum of HC15NO: The nu_1, nu_2, 2 nu_3, and nu_2 + nu_3 Band Systems pp. 540-553 (doi:10.1006/jmsp.1993.1200) W. Quapp, S. Albert, B.P. Winnewisser, M. Winnewisser Univ Leipzig, Inst Math, Augustuspl, O 7010 Leipzig, Germany Univ Giessen, Inst Phys Chem, W 6300 Giessen, Germany Abstract The infrared spectrum of HC15NO an isotopically substituted species of fulminic acid, has been measured in the range 1900-3600 cm-1 at a resolution of 0.003 cm-1 with a Bruker IFS 120 HR interferometer. More than 100 subbands have been assigned. Power series coefficients for these transitions are given. A Coriolis resonance between the levels 01002 (l = 0e) and 01010 (l = 1e) allows normally 'forbidden' transitions to occur, some of which were observed and assigned. We correlate transition intensities and energies of the resonance system. Variations in the manifold of n nu_5 states with excitation of other modes are compared. Academic Press
